Anti-Aging Skin Care
Our skin is our prime protection against the environment. In addition to guarding us against the ever-present bacteria and virus, our skin acts as a shield against the harmful Ultraviolet rays and extreme weather conditions. Our skin has an in-built self-repair mechanism which enables it to heal those routine scars and bruises. We often take our skin for granted and abuse it in different ways - sometimes intentionally and sometimes unintentionally. No wonder why despite being born with a smooth spotless skin, all humans somehow end up looking like sun-dried tomatoes. No matter how careful you are with your skin, you cannot always run away from the effects of aging. As you grow older, the signs of aging start to show on your face in forms of wrinkles, sags, blemishes etc. Note that one major cause of premature aging of skin is excessive exposure to sun and harmful UV rays. There’s a number of myths regarding skin care and one of those is the more often you splash water on your face, the fresher your skin is going to look. In reality, washing your face too often can have a reverse impact on your skin as tap water contains chlorine - a chemical that’s well known for causing oxidative damage. No matter how sensitive and caring you are about your skin, you have to bear in my mind that you cannot completely prevent the effects of aging from taking an inevitable toll on your skin.
